Government  policymakers, their support staff, public health practitioners, maternal and child health nurses and other stakeholders and members of the community are well placed to have a significant, large-scale and long-lasting influence on children’s eating habits.

Research shows that previous initiatives have achieved up to a 30% increase in children’s vegetable intake which, based on current consumption patterns, equates to about half a serve per child per day. This is a substantial increase in intake and would be a great result if we could achieve this for all Australian children.

You will find free resources and information on this website to support the development of both existing and future initiatives and associated strategies to encourage children to eat more vegetables.
